This is a creme-less recipe. Many Espresso Martini recipes use creme de cacao or irish cream. This recipe is intended for the coffee bean lover.
Ingredients:
- 1 shot of espresso
- 1 1/2 oz of premium vodka (Absolut Vodka is ok, if you have nothing better)
- 1 1/2 of Coffee Liqueur (such as Kalhua, Tia Maria or Starbuck’s Liqueur)
- coffee beans
- Crushed Ice
Directions:
- Crush 4-5 cubes of ice
- Place 1/2 of crushed ice in martini glass - to cool glass
- Mix espresso, vodka and coffee liqueur in a mixing cup (and cover it)
- Add remaining crushed to mixing cup
- Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds
- Dispose of ice in martini glass
- Strain mix into cooled martini glass
- Add 2-3 coffee beans into martini glass for garnish
- Enjoy your drink!
